FAQs

What do I need to bring to the retreat?

    • Clothing: We recommend articles of clothing that are casual and comfortable to wear throughout the day. Please consider the time of year that you are planning to attend a retreat. In the summer, temperatures will average from 70-80 degrees and will drop to 40-50 degrees at night. In the winter, temperatures will average from 30-60 degrees.

We recommend bringing pajamas, comfortable outfits (i.e. jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts), undergarments and socks, sneakers, sandals, and slippers for inside the house. We also recommend bringing athletic clothing as there will be opportunities for hiking, walking, yoga, and exercise.

We ask that clothing is appropriate and suitable for the work that we will be doing.

    • Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, moisturizer, body soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair brush, hair ties, wash cloth, towel, lotion, sunscreen, etc.

    • Snacks to share: While breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be included at the retreat, we ask for you to bring a healthy snack to share with others (i.e. trail mix, veggies, hummus, crackers, etc).

At each retreat, you will have the choice to purchase either a private room with a private bathroom, a private room, a shared suite, or a shared room. If you are also interested in bringing a friend, we have another option to share a room or bed.

Will meals be provided for me at the retreat?

We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast will be light with options such as eggs, oatmeal, toast, fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee, and tea. For dinner and lunch, we use organic fruits and vegetables to make healthy vegetarian and vegan style meals with gluten free options. If you have specific dietary needs, you are welcome to bring supplementary items for your comfort.

The boot camp retreat is an exception. Meals can include lean protein sources such as poultry or fish, unless you specify you are vegetarian or vegan.

I am nervous, scared and excited! What will I expect?

I hear you! Retreats are extraordinary experiences that will touch you deeply. This is an experience that requires you and everyone to be fully focused on the present moment in order to set the precedence for a sacred and safe space. Allowing ourselves to be present, allows for us to process our feelings while listening deeply to our own intuition and to others. We will be taking part in powerful workshops and creative activities that allow for truths to be discovered and space for deep healing. Rest assured, this will be an amazing, positive, and uplifting experience. By deeply connecting to nature, yourself, and with others, you can be reinvigorated and open to receiving love, light, and magic. We will spend time hiking, yoga, laughing, singing, dancing, and living life to the fullest while stepping into our own authenticity and truth.
